The 7th-seeded Green Bay Packers made history various times on Sunday when they took the field against the 2nd-seeded Dallas Cowboys, whether it be a team record they tied or broke or an individual record that that a player set. The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team has not lost in over a month. They have won five consecutive games, three of which are against Big Ten rivals. Their last loss came at the then number 1 school at the time  in the country, Arizona, in Tempe. Since then, the Badgers have won against Jacksonville State, Chicago State, Iowa, and Nebraska all at home and won on the road at Ohio State. The Green Bay Packers have clinched their spot in the NFC Playoffs behind the arm of Jordan Love. They will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas. It wasn’t an easy path for the Packers. They had games against the Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Giants, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers, the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears dating back to the beginning of December. The Green Bay Packers have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs after defeating the Chicago Bears 17-9 in Week 18. Led by a somewhat veteran defense and quarterback Jordan Love, the Packers managed to return to the playoffs with easily the youngest team in the National Football League. The Wisconsin Badgers’ season may be over with the close loss to the Louisiana State University Tigers (35-31 L in the Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa), but the Badgers pushed the 13th-ranked Tigers to the limit in the game. The Green Bay Packers crucially defeated the Minnesota Vikings 33-10 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota. With the win, the Packers control their destiny thanks to losses from various other NFC teams. The Packers will have to beat the Chicago Bears at home in week 18 at Lambeau Field. The Milwaukee Admirals faced off against the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday in the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. It was a battle of the top-4 teams in the Central Division (Milwaukee, 2nd and Rockford, 4th). Little did the fans know what was in store for them. The two teams scored for four goals a piece, sending it to overtime. However, it wouldn’t be decided there. It would go to a shootout where Admirals goaltender, Troy Grosenick saved two of three Rockford attempts.
