The Green Bay Packers have clinched their spot in the NFC Playoffs behind the arm of Jordan Love. They will take on the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas. It wasn’t an easy path for the Packers. They had games against the Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Giants, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Carolina Panthers, the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears dating back to the beginning of December. With the win against the Bears, the Packers will now face the Cowboys on Sunday at 4:30pm.
The Packers underwent a seismic shift this offseason, trading away a 4-time MVP and turning the keys over to a QB in Jordan Love who had made just 1 start in his career.
Green Bay has the youngest roster in the NFL.

The Packers, this season, have stumbled their way in to the playoffs claiming the 7th and final seed. In Love’s first season as a starter, he has managed 32 touchdowns and over 4,100 yards. Brett Favre in his first three seasons couldn’t do this (Favre did it in year 4). Aaron Rodgers’ first year of being a starter was in his fourth season after the departure of Brett Favre where he went 4,038 yards, but just 28 touchdowns.
Rodgers would go on to be a perennial 4,000 yard passer with the occasional 3,000 yard season here and there. With Love starting even earlier for the Packers, Packer fans could have an another longtime quarterback for the next 12-15 years.
The Green Bay Packers With Love As Its Leader For The Foreseeable Future, Will Be A Force To Be Reckoned With.
Love isn’t the only Packers player that has had a huge impact. Of course, the quarterback has a huge role, but there has to be players there to be able to do anything with the ball. This season, the Packers have had more than enough players than fill-in on the offense. At wide receiver, the main receiver Christian Watson went down midway through the year. A host of 2nd-year receivers and rookies stepped up in Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and most recently, Bo Melton giving Love a whole new cast of targets that he could trust from the previous season.
Alongside them, a pair of running backs in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon make the Packers dynamic as the two are very different, but both capable of breaking off a long run. If no running back or receiver is open, Love has a sure-handed tight end Tucker Kraft.
On the other side of the ball. things are a tad different. The youth is still there, but there are question marks surrounding defensive coordinator Joe Barry (who has been on the hot seat for a good chunk of the season). Packers Coach Matt LaFleur insists that he will be around next year and with a playoff appearance, it is hard to see them making that move now.
With the Cowboys’ next up for the Packers, the Cowboys’ tend to struggle in the playoffs. For the Packers, this is a young team that can test the Cowboys’ defense, and haven’t seen Jordan Love or as many receivers that Love can air it out to.
