Milwaukee Admirals Eliminated From Calder Cup Playoffs

The Milwaukee Admirals faced off in an interdivisional battle against the Chicago Wolves on Christmas Eve. The Admirals were led by 20-year-old Zachary L’Heureax, one of the top prospects in the Nashville Predators system, scored two goals in the game. The final result was a 3-2 overtime win for the Admirals. L’Heureux was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2021 after spending 4 seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The Wisconsin Badgers entered last Friday’s matchup against Chicago State ranked 24th and without guard Chucky Hepburn for most of the game, who injured his groin in the game. The rest of the team would then have to step up for the absence of their starting guard. Despite the absence of Hepburn in the second half,  Chicago State was completely outclassed by the Badgers. Earlier this month, the Green Bay Packers signed running back Kenyan Drake off the Cleveland Browns practice squad. Drake had also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad and the Baltimore Ravens at the beginning of the season, appearing in just one game with Ravens.
