The Green Bay Packers impressed everyone in 2023-24 by earning a wild card spot and winning, all to the divisional round before they eventually would fall to the San Francisco 49ers. They also hold the 25th overall draft pick in this upcoming draft and they will have a few spots to fill once free agency is done. Most notably, they will need to fill a massive hole in the offensive line left by the David Bahktiari, assuming they cut him to save cap space. With a lot of those that make up the offense returning, it’s time to look at…

The Green Bay Packers had quite the end to the season, winning four of their final five games (that loss coming in the divisonal round against the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers.) The Packers finally clicked and it seemed that first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love was putting the pieces together after sitting behind Packers’ legend Aaron Rodgers for a couple of years. After Week 15, the Packers won a series of close of wins including against the Panthers, the Vikings, and the Bears to close out the regular season. They would also beat the Dallas Cowboys in a not-so-close battle…

Brandon Staley is interviewing for the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator position

The Green Bay Packers have fired their now former defensive coordinator, Joe Barry. So far, the leading candidate is former Los Angeles Chargers head coach, Brandon Staley. There are a few other candidates in the running to take over the job. However, Staley’s name is not only the biggest, but also the most interesting for this vacancy. What Makes This A Potential Interesting Hire Is The Fact That Barry And Staley Were Both In The Sean McVay Coaching Tree. Sean McVay may have not gotten his Rams back to the Super Bowl for awhile but his assistants certainly have made…

One thing the Green Bay Packers learned this season is that player chemistry is absolutely crucial. Jordan Love made sure that he had the backing of the entire team before the season started. He made sure to get with his receivers and build chemistry with them before training camp began. If you noticed, the word of the day is chemistry. If this hadn’t happened, the Packers would probably not been as successful as they were getting to the NFC Divisional round. There were plenty of players that got them there and quite a few that will be free agents this…

Wisconsin Badgers Minnesota Golden Gophers

The Wisconsin Badgers took on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Minnesota’s Williams Arena. If you are a fan of defense, this was the matchup for you. It featured 12 separate blocks by both teams as well as 10 steals. It does make sense considering why the score was so low on both sides. However, the Badgers were able to eke out a crucial road win in The Barn, 61-59.  Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard utilized his starting five significantly more than any other combination of players with four players playing upwards of 30 minutes (forward Steven Crowl played just 26…

Green Bay Packers kicker Anders Carlson

The Green Bay Packers drafted kicker Anders Carlson 206th (sixth round) of the 2023 National Football League Draft. However, the decision would be one that the Packers would regret almost immediately. Carlson  was chosen to replace the aging and somewhat declining Packers’ legend Mason Crosby. However, the Packers couldn’t have predicted what would happen when they drafted Carlson. This season, Carlson led all kickers in most missed kicks (field goals and extra points). Naturally, this didn’t help the team win when the Packers reached the playoffs and they faced better teams. Anders Carlson ended the season 4/9 on FGs from…

Jordan Love was taken in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, number 26 overall to the Green Bay Packers. In that round of the draft, he would be one of five quarterbacks taken, all of whom have either been to the playoffs at some point and in the case of two of them (Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow), made to the Super Bowl (they both lost). This season, Love was named the starter with Aaron Rodgers departing for the New York Jets. Many analysts didn’t have the Packers going very far, certainly not into the playoffs. But Love…

Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers are in a unique position to break the record for most playoff wins by a single franchise. Currently, they are tied with the New England Patriots who acquired most of their wins during the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era. The Patriots have since parted ways with Belichick and Brady with entering the broadcasting booth after a year retired with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Belichick moving to another team. The Packers will be facing one of the league’s most feared defenses in the 49ers who feature Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, Arik Armstead, and Chase Young. However, the…

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers

With the 26th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Jordan Love out of Utah State. Many mocked the move and said that the Packers made the worst decision possible. The Packers still had future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the team when he (Love) was drafted and many fans believed that the selection would push Rodgers out of the organization. While the fans were ultimately right, it wouldn’t happen until 2023 when Rodgers demanded a trade. He would be sent to the New York Jets bringing several of his teammates with him that…
