Not even Aaron Rodgers’ presence on the sidelines could save the New York Jets from suffering their second straight loss on Sunday. This came in the form of a 16-12 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, which now has the struggling Jets falling to 4-5 on the season.
Aaron Rodgers Coaches Up Zach Wilson
It was another tough outing for Jets QB Zach Wilson, who went 23-of-39 on his passes for 263 yards. The 24-year-old also threw one interception and had no touchdowns against the Raiders.
It wasn’t exactly a terrible performance from the current New York QB1, though, and perhaps the fact that he received some in-game pointers from the great Aaron Rodgers played a role in the same.
A video of the four-time league MVP coaching up his young protege has gone viral on social media. In it, Wilson is seen trying to get as much advice as he could get from Rodgers:

Wilson has clearly been taking advantage of playing alongside Rodgers. He’s trying to take away as much as he can from the legendary QB as Wilson looks to someday follow in Rodgers’ footsteps. Hopefully.
For his part, it seems that A-Rod is more than willing to lend a helping hand.
Aaron Rodgers Aiming for Mid-December Return
Wilson won’t be the Jets’ QB1 for very long, though. This is after Rodgers himself declared his intention to return to the field by mid-December.
In case you forgot, Rodgers suffered what most believed was a season-ending injury in his Jets debut back in early September. His rehab has been going tremendously well, and he’s now looking to return before the calendar year ends.
Until then, however, it’s Wilson who’s going to be heading New York’s offense moving forward.
