The game is vital for the Jets playoff hopes. The Jets are hoping backup quarterback Zach Wilson can keep the team in the running for a World Card spot before Rodgers returns sometime this season. Rodgers has made a speedy recovery so far from the Achilles injury he sustained in Week 1.

Rodgers was seen putting weight on his feet during Jets warmups against the New York Giants in Week 8. That was seen as a huge sign of progress for Rodgers. But Monday afternoon saw another jump for Rodgers.

According to a post by the New York Jets, Rodgers was able to walk around the Jets’ stadium Monday afternoon. He has been seen riding around in a cart before. It’s a clear indication Rodgers is closer to returning to the game field.
