Whether fans like it or not, Aaron Rodgers will be tied to the Green Bay Packers for the 2023 season, at least. The amount of former Packers who will be on the New York Jets sideline in 2023 is astonishing. Nathaniel Hackett, Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Billy Turner will all be in a different shade of green for the upcoming season. This weekend, Aaron Rodgers was spotted with one more player who has been rumored to be a trade target for the New York Jets.
Aaron Rodgers Spotted With Left Tackle David Bakhtiari
A group of current and former Green Bay Packers players were part of a guest list that included celebrities such as two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Pro Football Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Emmitt Smith, the harmony group Boyz II Men, rapper Jack Harlow, among others. The night also included performances from Rachel Platten and Smoky Robinson.
Then came the actual Kentucky Derby, which has become a go-to destination for celebrities from all corners of the entertainment and sports worlds with everyone’s fashion just as much of a focus as the horse racing. Rodgers and Co. documented their weekend in Kentucky on social media.
Bakhtiari, now the longest tenured Packers player, has been a regular of Rodgers’ group over the years. He wrote on Instagram that it was another “successful Derby weekend. Shoutout the crew! Always a good time getting together for fellowship and some horse racing.” Bakhtiari, who turns 32 in September, is entering his 11th season with the Packers in 2023.
David Bakhtiari Has Been Rumored To Be A Trade Target For The New York Jets

Many rumors have been flying around about David Bakhtiari being a trade target for the New York Jets. Currently, the Jets do not have a solidified answer at the left tackle position and the Packers are likely to move on from Bakhtiari after the 2023 season.
If the Green Bay Packers have long-term faith in Yosh Nijman, getting a valuable draft pick (like a second round pick) for someone who will likely be gone after the 2023 season makes too much sense.
