The University of Wisconsin has announced the kickoff times for all their September games. The season begins on September 2 against Buffalo. It’s coming fast and football is almost here!
Kickoff Times

Wisconsin will open up against Buffalo on September 2 with a 2:30 PM kickoff. That will be at Camp Randall Stadium. According to the Wisconsin Athletics website, the game will be televised on FS1.
On September 9, the Badgers will travel to Pullman Washington for a battle against Washington State. Wisconsin will be looking to get revenge as the Cougars stunned the Badgers at home last season. This is scheduled for a 6:60 PM kickoff on ABC.
On September 16, Wisconsin will conclude their non-conference slate with Georgia Southern at home. This is currently scheduled for an 11 AM kickoff on BTN.
It was announced earlier this year the game against Purdue was being switched from Saturday September 23 to Friday September 22. The Badgers will travel to West Lafayette for a 6 PM kickoff on FS1. This should be an exciting game under the lights as Wisconsin doesn’t play many night games anymore.
Initial Thoughts

Uw Football Spring Practice 5 March 25 2023
I’ll be interested to see how Wisconsin comes out for the Buffalo game. It should be a sell out crowd or very close to one. It will be the first game under new coach Luke Fickell. I will be looking to see if the Badgers come out slow or if they come out firing early.
A lot of players on this year’s team were a part of the team last season that suffered the home loss to Washington State. I was at that game and the vibe from the crowd was not good to say the least. The Badgers should have probably won that game by at least two touchdowns. However, they kept turning the ball over and missed two field goals. I believe all but seven of the Cougars points were off of Wisconsin turnovers.
The night game against Purdue should be a cool atmosphere. It should be a good early test for this team. At the end of the day, the Badgers should take of business on the road.
