A first-team all-state selection in 2022, Booker said becoming a Badger was “a life long dream.” The Waunakee native is a three-star prospect per the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the fifth-ranked prospect from Wisconsin in his class and the 21st-ranked tight end nationally.
Booker chose Wisconsin over nine other schools. Among his other scholarship offers were Big Ten rivals Minnesota, Iowa, Purdue, and Michigan State.

Booker fits the mold of athletic tight ends that it wants to recruit. Under offensive coordinator Phil Longo’s air raid offense, Booker can be a valuable pass catcher. He recorded 27 catches for 380 yards and six touchdowns in his junior season at Waunakee High School.
Wisconsin football recruiting: state of the 2024 class
Wisconsin football’s 2024 recruiting class now has three commitments. Booker is the second tight end to commit to the 2024 class this week alone. Booker and four-star prospect Grant Stec both committed after their Junior Day visits to Madison. The third member of Wisconsin’s 2024 class is four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer.
