The Wisconsin Badgers got a win Friday
The 15th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers Men’s Basketball team improved to 10-2 Friday night. The Badgers survived a fierce performance from Western Michigan at the Kohl Center. The Broncos came into the contest with a 4-8 record, but they held tough with the Badgers for most of the game.
The Badgers led by only two points at halftime. Wisconsin never trailed the contest, and they pulled away by double digits in the second half. The win was by no means a dominant performance, but it was a solid win during Christmas Break before Big Ten play really ramps up in January. Badgers junior forward Steven Crowl had a great night from the Field. He finished 9-13 shooting, 3-5 shooting the three ball, scoring 25 points on the night.
Badgers Fans react to the win
Badgers fans were expecting a blowout for most of the game Friday. That is understandable, as the Badgers were the much better team on paper. But the Badgers hung tough and still came out with a double-digit win over the Broncos. Other fans were happy to get the “W” before the upcoming New Year’s Day holiday. Here are the best takes on Twitter from the Badgers’ win over the Broncos.
Least eventful basketball game I have ever seen but I'll take the dub

That was a horrible performance. This team has a long way to go before it is a top-half BigTen team.

It’s absolutely laughable that there are people who don’t think Steven Crowl has taken a big step forward this season.

Big Steve is only scratching the surface. #Badgers
Badgers need someone who attacks the basket.
