The 3:15 pm slot of the WIAA Girls State Semi-Final was between the Wauwatosa East Raiders and the Notre Dame Academy Tritons who are 3-time defending State Champions in Division 2 so it is going to be a tough test for the Raiders this afternoon.
Wauwatosa East is an extremely young team and they have a bright future ahead of themselves making the State Tournament is a big early step for them as they have many good years behind them so I would say they are moving ahead of schedule.
The Wauwatosa East Raiders are led by Head Coach Mary Merg meanwhile the Notre Dame Academy Tritons are led by Head Coach Sara Rohde.
The Raiders took down Union Grove in the Sectional Final to get to the State Tournament and the Tritons took down Menomonie in the Sectional Final to reach the State Tournament.

WIAA Semi-Final Wauwatosa East 2nd Half Recap
The Tosa East Raiders in the second half were met with challenges from the Tritons but in a way, it was tough because Notre Dame dominated on the offensive rebounds section almost all game as they had the height advantage coming into this game.
The Raiders have a lot to look forward to when talking about the second half as most of the team is not even close to being all seniors and the magic run that they had this year is a building moment for next year.
Mikaia Litza (24) was the leading scorer for the Wauwatosa East Raiders with 21 points followed by Audrey Sellinger (33) with 7 Points in today’s loss to Notre Dame Academy.
