Coming up this Saturday will be the Final WIAA Pre-State Tournament games for Boys Basketball around Wisconsin. Lots of teams take the court for the opportunity to head to state and battle for the Gold Ball at a Neutral Location.
One thing I take into consideration is a lot of State Championship favorites pulled some close games at the end such as the De Pere Redbirds and St. Thomas More Cavaliers.
Both of those teams were trailing with a couple of minutes remaining in the game and it wasn’t looking good.
The De Pere Redbirds took the Month of March for what is supposed to be and won in Double Overtime and a late foul in Single OT saved the Redbirds at Mid-Court which was sure an intense one at Sheboygan South on Thursday Evening.

How many Games will be played around the State on Saturday?
Saturday Afternoon we will be on a 20-game schedule with 40 teams remaining statewide out of the five divisions.
Where will teams play if they win Saturday’s Sectional Final Games?
Next weekend all the teams who win Saturday will play at the Kohl Center Home of the Wisconsin Badgers in a Thursday-Saturday Schedule which can be found in the WIAA Boys State Preview coming out next week.
