The Brewers run a very tight-knit organization. Free agent/trade rumors are often times hard to come by and when they are, David Stearns typically ends up going in a completely different direction. Up until today, the same concept had applied with the Brewers 2022 city connect uniforms. That is, until a picture of a hat surfaced on the web that may have unveiled part of the design.
The city connect series is relatively new and a lot of teams are participating this year. This will be the Brewers first time with the city connect alternative uniforms, in which the designs are supposed to incorporate the city. The Brewers will wear these uniforms on June 24 against the Cardinals.
Here is a potential first look at the Brewers 2022 city connect design.

This is not the entire uniform, but the first thing that stands out to me is that the hat is primarily powder blue. This blue appears to be along the same color scheme from the Brewers uniforms during the 1980s. During this time, the Brewers jerseys and pants were powder blue, so it will be interesting to see if they bring that concept back.
A few other important things to notice is that the numbers 4-1-4 are incorporated into MKE. This of course is referencing Milwaukee’s area code. Milwaukee has ran with the popularity of 4-1-4 over the years and April 14th is now coined Milwaukee day, which coincidently coincided with the Brewers home opener this year. Additionally, underneath the brim are the words “Brew City”. We do not know if “Brew City” will be on the Brewers uniforms or not, but it appears that it may be a strong possibility.
