The Green Bay Packers are showing interest in adding another kicker to the roster this season after the team turned over the reigns this offseason from Mason Crosby to rookie Anders Carlson.

Carlson struggled during his preseason debut, but he’s played well to start the regular season. Carlson went 1-1 on extra points and 1-1 on field attempts during the Packers Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints. He’s 3-3 on field goals and 8-8 on extra points through the Packers’ first three games.
But the Packers were doing their due diligence Monday before their Week 4 matchup with the Detroit Lions.
The Green Bay Packers worked out a kicker
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Packers worked out two kickers, Jack Podlesny and Parker White. Podlesny is a rookie UDFA who was signed by the Minnesota Vikings after the draft. They released the Georgia kicker during training camp.

White is a familiar name for Packers fans. He signed a futures deal with the Packers in January. He was released during OTAs.
Neither player has been signed by the Packers as of this publishing. However, we’ll keep an eye on the Packers’ plans at kicker on the transaction wire this week.
