Last night, the Milwaukee Milkmen opened up the Postseason at home as the #1 seed against the Kane County Cougars. Starting us off before we get to the game it was a beautiful night at the amazing Franklin Field in Franklin, Wisconsin for Game 1 of the Divisional series.

    Game Recap:

We started in the Top of the 1st inning where the Milwaukee Milkmen got two quick outs on defense, but things in that same inning turned quickly in favor of Kane County as they reached base on two walks in a row, Disaster strikes after those walks as Jonah Davis for Kane County goes deep and gives the Cougars the 3-0 lead in the Top of the 1st inning. We head to the Top of the 3rd inning where the scoring for Kane County steps up a little bit more which started with the Milkmen giving up a single and then hitting two batters in a row, so the Cougars will have bases loaded with two outs in the 3rd, but then Olivier Basabe for the Cougars doubles to Left Field that will score two runs but then a third run comes in after an error on the Left Fielder, to give the Kane County Cougars the 6-0 lead in the third inning, Olivier Basabe would later score in the inning so it 7-0 after the top half of the third inning. Now we head to the Top of the 5th inning with 2 outs where Olivier Basabe singles to Left Field and scores Armond Upshaw to give Kane County the 8-0 lead. Now in the bottom of the 5th, Aaron Hill gets the Milwaukee Milkmen on the board with a single Center Field to score Drew Ward and Reggie Pruit Jr. who all got hits earlier in the inning so now it is an 8-2 game in the bottom of the 5th in favor of the Kane County Cougars. Now we head to the Top of the 8th inning when Todd Lott doubles to Left Field to score Olivier Basabe and Galli Cribs Jr. to give Kane County the 10-2 lead. Kane County would score again in the Top of the 9th inning via a homerun from Jonah Davis. Kane County goes on to defeat the Milwaukee Milkmen 11-2 and the Milkmen will face elimination in Illinois on Friday night.
