Franklin, WI- This weekend is going to be a huge weekend for The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin as they welcome the Savannah Bananas to town on Friday Evening. This event will be marked as one of Franklin Field’s biggest events of the year as it is going to bring in a big crowd to the Complex this weekend.
What are the Savannah Bananas?
According to the Savannah Bananas website, their goal is to challenge the way things are supposed to be, They play the fastest and most entertaining game of Baseball called “banana ball” They are also known to perform dances throughout the ball game as well when fans come and watch and perform various skills as well. I like to relate the Savannah Bananas to the Harlem Globetrotters of Basketball you are coming out to see a different and funny kind of game. They are known to be different and that is what makes them unique currently.
What is the Savannah Bananas considered?
Currently, the Savannah Bananas are considered an exhibit on baseball teams meaning they play lots of things for fun to put on a great atmosphere for kids and families at local stadiums around the United States. They are based in Savannah, Georgia currently which goes with the name of the team but like I said before they play around the country.
Where is this event located, in Wisconsin?
Coming up this weekend the event is set to take place at Franklin Field in Franklin, Wisconsin which is located at The Rock Sports Complex which is home to baseball fields, the Milwaukee Milkmen, Luxe Golf Bays, and many more fun summer activities. Franklin is located about 15 minutes outside of Milwaukee and is considered a suburb of Milwaukee. Before reading below you will realize why this event is so popular in a way which is why you may want to avoid the area if you do not have tickets.
Where do you find Tickets for this event?
Unfortunately, if you have not found tickets for this event it will become extremely difficult here is why. The Milwaukee Milkmen recently announced that this event is SOLD OUT and the only way you can get tickets is by buying them from someone who can not make the event. The crazy part is they have three shows this coming weekend which makes it a headache to think about how many people will be walking in and out of that stadium throughout Friday and Saturday.
Can I still view the game, with no tickets left?
Yes you can, recently on Facebook the Umbrella Bar account announced they will be having watch parties for the event throughout the weekend on their 23′ x 13′ LED Wall while you can enjoy delicious beer and cocktails throughout the event at the top of the Umbrella Bar.
What are the Dates and Times for this event?
As mentioned above, the Savannah Bananas will be putting on three shows for the days of September 8th & 9th, the schedule is provided below on what times they are happening. As mentioned before the event is SOLD OUT, so it would be a good recommendation to get there early as an hour before so that way you are subject to a good parking spot when you arrive.

Will this event affect the Milwaukee Milkmen Playoff Schedule?
The Milwaukee Milkmen are selected to host the Kane County Cougars there first playoff game on Wednesday, September 6th at 6:35 pm, but when the Savannah Bananas are in action the Milkmen will be on the road for Games 2 and potential Game 3 as that is TBD depending on how the series goes.
