It was an exciting weekend in Atlanta as the Brewers battled the Braves. Here is a complete recap of the series and what to expect next from the Brew Crew.
Brewers vs. Braves Game One:

Adrian Houser took the mound for the Brewers, facing off against the Braves’ Yonny Chirinos. In the game, Houser allowed six runs in 4 innings, while Chirinos allowed 4 runs in 3.2 innings.
The offense for the Brewers got started when Abraham Toro hit an RBI groundout, and Tyrone Taylor followed up with an RBI single in the second inning. The Brewers continued their scoring in the fourth inning when Joey Wiemer hit a two-run double.
Later in the game, Abraham Toro hit a crucial three-run home run, bringing the Brewers back into contention at 7-10. However, that turned out to be the final score. The Braves managed to hold on to their lead, securing the victory.
Brewers vs. Braves Game Two:
Final Score: 11-5 Braves
Julio Teheran took the mound for the Brewers and had a challenging outing, allowing nine runs in five innings. On the flip side, the Braves starter, Bryce Elder, was impressive, tossing seven innings of one-run ball.
Milwaukee managed to get on the board early in the game when Sal Frelick hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning. However, they found themselves trailing behind.
In the eighth inning, the Brewers made a late push to come back, as Joey Wiemer delivered an RBI single, followed by a crucial three-run home run from William Contreras. Despite their efforts, the Brewers still fell short, and the Braves held on to secure the victory.
Brewers vs. Braves Game Three:
Final Score: 8-6 Braves
Colin Rea took the mound for the Brewers and had a tough outing, allowing five runs in five innings. AJ Smith Schawver started for the Braves and gave up three runs in five innings.
The Brewers’ offense got off to a good start in the first inning when Christian Yelich scored on a wild pitch. Yelich continued his impressive performance in the third inning, hitting a solo home run. Newcomer Carlos Santana also joined the home run parade with a solo shot of his own.
In the sixth inning, Milwaukee added three more runs to their tally. Christian Yelich contributed with an RBI groundout, and William Contreras followed with a two-run double.
However, despite their offensive efforts, the Brewers’ bullpen couldn’t hold on, and the Braves offense proved to be too powerful. The game ended with the Braves coming out on top, securing the victory against the Brewers. It was a hard-fought game, but the Braves offensive prowess ultimately made the difference.
