For Packers safety Jonathan Owens the Negative Aspects of Social Media have reared their ugly head.
Jonathan Owens is a good football player. No wait, let’s start over: anyone who can make money playing professional football is a good football player (better than me!) Jonathan Owens is a good football player who has had great moments this season for Green Bay. That TD against Detroit this year on Thanksgiving was awesome! The undrafted free agent is all about hard work. The Packers have been, at times, lucky to have him.
So what in the world is going on with X and some of these, albeit it, strange posts.
Here are the messages at hand.

If you are looking for some crib notes basically Owens talked about how he is “hot” and his wife is “hot”.
Her having a Packers shirt on makes this funnier. He’s their starting Safety. https://t.co/neTLxvbxRF

What escalated some of this was that last tweet where Suzki865 is called out by 285Slim. She goes on and calls Owens nothing more than a practice player. The video then continues on to basically say Simone Biles is better off without Owens because he is not very good.
It is not a shinning moment for social media.
It was strange.
Simone Biles Seems to have the last word
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has accomplished quite a bit in her professional career. Biles and Owens are together and the power couple has captured the hearts of fans both on and off the field.
Here is her post on X.

Jonathan Owens Mini-Bio
This guy is not just your average safety; he’s a force to be reckoned with on the field and a down-to-earth dude off it. Again, the Packers are lucky to have him.
Owens has 67 tackles on the season. He also has a sack.
Born on July 22, 1995, in St. Louis, Missouri, Owens didn’t just stumble into the world of football; he bulldozed his way in with talent and hard work. His journey from a small-town kid with big dreams to a key player for the Packers is nothing short of inspiring.
Jonathan’s football journey kicked off at Missouri Western State University, where he made a name for himself as a standout safety. After earning All-MIAA honors, he caught the attention of NFL scouts. Owens went undrafted in 2018 but refused to let that define his career. He worked his tail off, honing his skills in various practice squads before finding his home with the Packers in 2019.

Owens previously played for the Houston Texans.
Off the gridiron, Owens is known for his infectious personality and philanthropic efforts. Whether he’s cracking jokes in the locker room or lending a helping hand in the community, he’s all about making a positive impact.
In 2021, Owens became a household name not just for his on-field heroics but also for his relationship with Olympic gymnast Simone Biles. The power couple is a beacon of love and support, capturing the hearts of fans both on and off the field.
So, next time you see Owens flying across the field, remember, there’s more to this safety than just tackles and interceptions – he’s a guy who’s turning his dreams into reality, one play at a time.
What’s Next?
The Packers take on the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina at noon on Christmas Eve. The game will be broadcast across almost the entire country.
The Packers could really use a win. They still have a chance at earning a playoff spot.
Hopefully for everyone, this will not be a distraction to that end.
