The Green Bay Packers got back two key players today at practice. According to Rob Demovsky the Packers got back both Jaire Alexander and Christian Watson at practice today. Although both participated in different capacities, they were out there. That is big for both of their availabilities on Sunday vs the New England Patriots.
Christian Watson And Jaire Alexander Both Practice
Christian Watson (hamstring) is practicing for the second straight day after missing last Sunday’s game.
Jaire Alexander (groin) stayed inside after stretch when the rest of the team went outside.

Christian Watson is coming off his hamstring injury that caused him to miss the game in Tampa Bay. Watson practicing two days in a row bodes well for his availability vs New England on Sunday. If he is able to go, both Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson may get a few extra looks. Last week Romeo Doubs caught all eight of his targets. Even with Watson’s massive week one drop vs the Minnesota Vikings, he is too explosive to give up on feeding him those opportunities.
Getting Jaire Alexander back on any defense is big. Getting him back on a team that still found success against Tom Brady throwing it 42 times without him on the field is even bigger. The Packers defense will likely be facing the New England Patriots’ back-up quarterback. Mac Jones suffered a pretty serious ankle sprain last week vs the Baltimore Ravens. This could pose a major advantage for the Green Bay Packers going into week four. Especially given it is a home game and the crowd is sure to be rowdy. Rahan Gary asked for the crowd to get even louder than they were last week.
