According to bookies.com the Packers are the favorite to land D.K. Metcalf if he is traded. Acknowledging that is a pretty big “if.” This off-season has been full of unexpected trades however. More than one of them have involved a big name wide receiver. Both the Davante Adams trade and Tyreek Hill trade seemed to come out of no where. The market for big name wide receivers is robust right now, any team would be smart to capitalize on it. The Seahawks are sitting on a gold mine with Lockett and Metcalf. However Metcalf would be the one that would call for “the kitchen sink.”
D.K. Metcalf odds:
While we acknowledge that D.K. Metcalf staying in Seattle is most likely, Green Bay is next on the list. Green Bay has the draft capital to acquire Metcalf. They have also shown the willingness to pay star wide receivers, even though Adams did get traded.
.@bookies has odds up on where D.K. will play in 2022
Seattle Seahawks -125
Green Bay Packers +500
New York Jets +550
Kansas City Chiefs +750
Chicago Bears +900
Indianapolis Colts +950

Seattle already loaded up on draft picks from their Russell Wilson trade. Loading up on more for D.K. Metcalf may come as music to Seattle’s ears.
What a realistic trade may look like:
Seattle Receives:
- 2022 First round pick
- 2022 Second round pick
- 2023 Fourth round pick
Green Bay Receives:
- WR D.K. Metcalf
- Commitment to a large, long term contract
Multiple reports have said that Green Bay has at least reached out about D.K. Metcalf. All it takes is the right offer, will the Packers be willing to make that deal? Will Seattle? This off-season is only just beginning, many more moves are presumably coming.
