The Green Bay Packers are in a difficult spot in their season. Sitting at 4-7, the Packers need to win every game for the rest of the season in order to have a shot at the postseason. The offensive struggles have put Green Bay in a position to consider all options to improve. Today the Green Bay Packers worked out several wide receivers. One of which was a veteran who played four seasons in Green Bay. Unfortunately, the Packers won’t be re-signing wide receiver Geronimo Allison per report.
Green Bay Packers Won’t Sign Geronimo Allison After Workout:
Per Rob Demovsky the Packers will not be re-signing the veteran wide receiver. In his four seasons in Green Bay (2016-2019) Geronimo Allison averaged 3.5 games started per season. He also reeled in 22 receptions, 260 yards, and just over one touchdown per season.
Allison played in 46 games for the Green Bay Packers, accumulating nearly 90 receptions and just over 1000 yards. He is best remembered for his clutch catch against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 24, 2017. It was a 72-yard reception in overtime that set up Mason Crosby‘s game-winning field goal. If Green Bay wants to add more depth/talent at the pass catcher position, they’ll have to continue to look.

Problem is not the offense, their putting points on the board. Problem is a weak defense.
