The Green Bay Packers are off to a decent enough start in 2023 and will have to kick it into gear in order to win the NFC North for the first time since 2021. The Green Bay Packers October schedule is one of the leaner portions of the season. With only three games and a Week 6 bye, winning all three to set up a pivotal November run is possible.

The first matchup in the Green Bay Packers October schedule also will likely be the least difficult. The storylines will be abound with the Packers facing off against its former Packers star Davante Adams.
The Raiders are not set to be among the league’s elite. The offense is led by Jimmy Garoppolo and he is what he is at this point. He’s not an elevating factor and just does what needs done. That is, of course, assuming he stays healthy to this point. Adams is still among the best receivers in the game and will be quite the matchup for the Packers’ secondary. Finally, Josh Jacobs is a legit back who is motivated to earn that payday.
Defensively, they’re led by a solid linebacker duo in Robert Spillane and Devine Deablo. Overall, however, it’s not the greatest unit. Maxx Crosby is one to watch coming off of the edge but that’s about it for their pass rush. Green Bay should be able to take care of business and head into the bye with a win.
2. Denver Broncos

Right out of the bye, Green Bay travels to Mile High to take on the Broncos.
This is an interesting team all the way up and down its roster. Sean Payton came to town to turn it around with Russell Wilson at quarterback. Letting Russ cook was not the greatest strategy in 2022 and this team is often mired by injuries. Out wide, Jerry Jeudy and Marvin Mims are a formidable duo but haven’t had much to work with, not to mention Courtland Sutton.
On defense, the Broncos boast one of the best corners in the game, Patrick Surtain. Surtain was fantastic in 2022 and regularly held the league’s best at bay. Of course, don’t forget about Randy Gregory Justin Simmons. The Packers offense will have its work cut out for it. Either way, even on the road, places like https://thesportsdaily.com/gambling-apps/ may have the Packers as a favorite after a strong start.
3. Minnesota Vikings

Finally, the most difficult matchup for the Packers in October will have to be the reigning North champion, the Vikings.
This is quite the enigmatic team. The Packers October success could be down to how porous the Vikings’ defense has been over the last few years. They have a few studs like Danielle Hunter, Camryn Bynum, and Ivan Pace, but as a unit, they leave something to be desired.
The reason that Minnesota is the most difficult of the Packers’ October slate – aside from the divisional familiarity – is this offense. Kirk Cousins is a good field commander but it’s his weapons that are the major cause for concern.
Justin Jefferson is still the league’s best receiver and Jordan Addison is set to become one of the best WR2s. Replacing Dalvin Cook may not be as easy as they’d think, but this is an offense that should be able to score points. The Packers’ defense will have its work cut out for it. However, if they lean on DeVondre Campell, Jaire Alexander, and company, the Packers should get to November on a hot streak.
