Will the Packers be involved in the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes?
It’s clear the Green Bay Packers are searching for more help on the offensive side of the football. That’s evident by the reports on Sunday that they attempted to trade for a few wide receivers and even tight end Darren Waller.
But help in the form of a potential free agent option could be coming as early as this week.
Per Jay Glazer, free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. should be cleared this week and will draw a lot of interest from teams around the league:
Free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. should be fully cleared by the end of this week, per @JayGlazer. Expect a plethora of teams to show interest.

The report doesn’t name teams specifically, but the Packers have been linked to Beckham before. That includes last year when they made a push for him before he opted to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.
The previous reports of the Packers attempting to trade for players does make sense in the form of getting help. And it means they will likely make a push for Beckham Jr. again this year. The snag could be that Beckham was a primary role and could want to play for a contender right away.
The Packers have a lot to fix to be considered a contender here in 2022, that’s certainly clear.
