Andrew Vorhees: Offensive Guard, USC: NFL Draft Scouting Profile and Projected Draft Position
Andrew Vorhees USC Stats
Vorhees has been a five-year player at USC. In his five years, he has only given up a total of 4 sacks while playing at left guard and left tackle.
Andrew Vorhees Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Vorhees has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- Bursts off the line of scrimmage and has tremendous natural strength and power, able to dominate at the point of attack and wipe out defenders in the run game
- Has a naturally wide base, thickly build, and good length
- Is effective when asked to pull, showing the agility, speed, and overall range to get out as a lead blocker, where Vorhees locates defenders and shows the ability to adjust and land blocks against linebackers
- As a pass protector, he plays with good balance and holds up against the bull rush
Weaknesses
- Can struggle to stay engaged, especially on the second level. His hand placement can be sloppy, costing him power
- He’ll have some trouble with quickness as a pass protector

Andrew Vorhees in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Vorhees is a projected second-round pick. He does sneak into the first round for a couple of mock drafts. Offensive guard is usually not a high-priority position so often teams will wait until the second round in order to pick one. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Vorhees being drafted.

Would Andrew Vorhees Fit on the Packers?
In a vacuum, I like the fit of Vorhees on the Packers. His ability to pull and get out in space is what excites me the most as Matt LaFleur’s offense often has some creative run plays. The outside toss play especially means that linemen have to get outside. Vorhees would be able to do that and make some blocks in space.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
The real question is whether the Packers will need another OG. Elgton Jenkins has resigned and Jon Runyan Jr. has been solid at right guard. Adding depth to the offensive line is never a bad thing but I think that GM Brian Gutekunst may look elsewhere.
