NFL: Dalvin Cook is one of the most sought-after free agents right now. The Minnesota Vikings released the 27-year-old in early June after failing to find a trade partner. Cook had been scheduled to make $10.4 million in base salary this upcoming season. Over one month after the Vikings released him, they still reportedly have a contract offer on the table for him. This weekend, Dalvin Cook spoke to reporters about his next team in the league.
Dalvin Cook Breaks Silence About His Next Team In The NFL (Report)

Dalvin Cook spoke to KSTP-TV at his football camp over the weekend. He talked about how grateful he was for the Minnesota Vikings to allow him to live out his NFL dream. While also saying that his next decision has to be best for himself and his family:
“Minnesota means a lot to me and my family. They gave me and my family a great opportunity at life … I got drafted here so they gave me an opportunity to live my dream and I appreciate them for everything they did for me and my family.
I’m just taking my time and being patient with the process. It’s a life decision that will put me in a [predicament] for my future. So I’m taking my time and I’m not rushing it and when I make that decision it’s gonna be right for me and my family.
What Team Has The Best Odds To Land Dalvin Cook?

According to Fox Sports’ Henry McKenna, the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins are the 3 frontrunners to land Cook this offseason. It isn’t clear how much money he is looking for from whatever team ends up signing him or how long of a contract.
He has reportedly already received an offer from the Dolphins, but hasn’t signed with them yet. There haven’t been details of that contract revealed, but football fans have seen what the running back market has looked like this offseason, so it may not have been for any longer than the 2023 season or all that lucrative for the Pro Bowl running back. The Vikings reportedly offered Cook around $7 million annually after releasing him.
