There has been a lot of major injury NFL news this year for the New York Jets. A Thursday report confirmed the team’s worst fears during OTAs this month.
The Jets saw several newcomers to the team deal with injuries this spring. Aaron Rodgers suffered a minor calf injury and missed several voluntary OTA practices. Safety Chuck Clark sustained a knee injury that was thought to be serious with his initial diagnosis, but Clark wanted a second opinion.

Clark, who started 17 games for the Baltimore Ravens last season, was traded to the Jets this offseason in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick. The Jets quickly moved to replace Clark on the roster after the initial diagnosis.
The Jets signed former Packers safety Adrian Amos. The Packers were interested in potentially re-signing him in free agency. Amos was exploring other options this spring, including Clark’s former team, the Ravens. Amos actually visited the Ravens the day before he signed with the Jets.
The Packers had to sit and watch another former team member sign with the Jets. The Jets have added several former Packers players in an offseason they traded for Rodgers.
