The Milwaukee Bucks are still preparing for Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers with the distinct possibility of not having cornerstone superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo available. The former back-to-back MVP has not played all series long, and it does not sound like he’s making significant enough progress to return on Friday for Game 3.
Right now, though, the Bucks are dealing with another significant dilemma as Khris Middleton’s status for Friday’s crucial showdown in Indiana has suddenly been cast with doubt.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Khris Middleton Dealing With New Injury

Middleton sustained an ankle injury in their Game 2 loss on Tuesday, but he was still able to remain on the floor. The three-time All-Star, however, was unable to practice on Thursday, which has resulted in him being added to the injury report for Friday’s contest.
Unfortunately for Bucks fans, Middleton is now in serious danger of missing Game 3 after he was officially listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain:
The Bucks have submitted their injury report for Game 3 in Indianapolis:
Doubtful
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left soleus strain)
Chris Livingston (illness)Questionable
Khris Middleton (right ankle sprain)— Eric Nehm (@eric_nehm) April 25, 2024

This is obviously not a good development for the Bucks, who are coming off a brutal 125-108 loss to the Pacers in Game 2, which saw them lose home-court advantage in this first-round series.
If Middleton ends up sitting out on Friday, then Milwaukee will find it even more difficult to try and beat their Central Division rivals on their own home floor in Game 3. Another loss for the Bucks would not be the end of the world for them and their championship aspirations, but there’s no denying that it will turn the tide of this series in favor of Tyrese Haliburton and Co.
