The New York Jets don’t seem content with the plethora of former Green Bay Packers talent they had acquired before training camp started Wednesday. They’re reportedly showing interest in two more players.
The Packers traded for Aaron Rodgers in April. The Jets added some pieces Rodgers was familiar with in Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb. The Jets also signed Billy Turner and Tim Boyle, who are familiar with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett’s system.
That isn’t a complete list of former Packers on the Jets, by the way.
Injury necessitated safety Adrian Amos to join their defense. And a lingering injury to Jets running back Breece Hall could mean another former Packers running back joins the team.
Two former Green Bay Packers work out with the New York Jets
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Jets worked out to former Packers backfield members in running back Damarea Crockett and fullback John Lovett.

Crockett was with the Packers during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. He had no stats with the Packers.
Lovett played in eight games for the Packers during the 2020 season. He ran the ball three times for six yards.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Jets sign either of these players. They could join the reunion going on at the Jets training camp this summer.
I bet that is a treat for Hard Knocks.
