One of the biggest storylines in the NFL this season will be the play of Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love. Throughout the offseason, multiple Packers players have praised him for his work ethic, leadership, and talent. Among these have been Elgton Jenkins, Rasul Douglas, Jaire Alexander, Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillon.
One player that has been relatively quiet in regards to the team for a few weeks is David Bakhtiari. Of all the players on the team, he was the only one willing to use the term “rebuild” to describe the 2023 Packers. Many have wondered if he will be as committed to Love as he was to his good friend Aaron Rodgers.
Well, today he laid all those conversations to rest when asked about Love’s progress.
Green Bay Packers Left Tackle David Bakhtiari Has High Praise for Quarterback Jordan Love

The Packers are visiting the Cincinnati Bengals for joint practices this week ahead of their preseason game against each other. The biggest story of the first day of practice was left guard Elgton Jenkins getting into two fights and being ejected from the field following the second one.
It was reportedly a tale of two defenses, as both team’s units made life difficult for both offenses. After practice was over, reporters asked Bakhtiari what his thoughts are on where Love is at as a starting quarterback.
“Hall of Fame. First ballot,” Bakhtiari replied.

Now, Bakhtiari being who he is, one may not take it too seriously. He also may be mirroring comments former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made to his new teammate, Sauce Gardner, about Gardner being a future Hall of Famer.
If this is the case, it still can be considered high praise. While Bakhtiari may have a fun-loving personality, he is brutally honest and realistic.
Of course, this does not mean that Love is going to be the next Hall of Fame quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. He could be, but no one will know anything until he plays in the regular season.
And thankfully he has teammates who believe in him, one of the best left tackles in the NFL, and an offseason spent building chemistry with his pass catchers.
