The Green Bay Packers were one of the league’s best offenses in the second half of the 2024 season. Jordan Love and the young group of weapons around him started clicking and winning.
Heading into 2024, the Packers are looking to fine-tune their offense and take their ceiling from playoff caliber to championship caliber.
Offensive Coordinator Adam Stenavich has an idea on how that may happen.
Green Bay Packers’ Offensive Coordinator Adam Stenavich Has Ideal Wrinkle For Offense In 2024

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Packers OC Adam Stenavich on MarShawn Lloyd: “I would like to get him out there as much as possible.”
Says he doesn’t bring the physicality that AJ Dillon does, but he brings a different speed element. Wants to get Lloyd out in open space. pic.twitter.com/E2CwcWAgax

The Green Bay Packers May Have Another Full Time Running Back In 2024

It is likely the Packers’ top three backs going into week one will be Josh Jacobs, AJ Dillon, and MarShawn Lloyd. Dillon is returning on a one year deal and is very much in a “prove it”year. If Lloyd can prove his worth early on, that might phase Dillon out of the offense earlier than expected.
Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy stated that Lloyd was the best back in the 2024 NFL Draft:
“I thought he was the best back in the draft,” Nagy told Packer Central this week in an interview regarding the NFL-high nine Senior Bowl players the Packers drafted.
“This was going back to really the beginning of the season. When we started watching the USC stuff, it was pretty clear to me. He had a couple of monster games against lesser opponents, but some of the stuff you saw – making people miss, running through contact, the juice at the second level to pull away from people – he’s got it all.”
It’s clear the Packers want to get Lloyd going early and often in this offense. Taking the load of Jacobs will not only preserve his time in Green Bay, but will develop a scary 1-2 punch.
