Per multiple reports, Dalvin Cook has been released by the Minnesota Vikings Friday. The Vikings sent a signal to teams interested in Cook that he was available via a trade until Friday. That deadline has passed, and Cook appears to have sent a major clue about where he wants to play this season.
The Vikings were in trade talks with the Miami Dolphins before the 2023 NFL Draft. Nothing came of the talks, but there had been smoke that the Vikings were planning on moving on from Cook after Jun 1 to save on cap space. Several teams have been reportedly interested in Cook’s services this season, including the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys. Cook seems to have his eyes on one destination.

Cook posted a picture of him dancing in Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on his Instagram. Many fans take it as a sign that Cook intends to play for the Dolphins this season.

We’ll see if that comes to fruition. The Dolphins’ offense would be pretty dangerous with Cook in Miami. It’s also possible Cook just wanted to post a good picture of himself dancing in his pads. However, Cook’s choice of Hard Rock Stadium seems to indicate that’s where his agent will be negotiating hard this weekend.
