NFL fans think Aaron Rodgers to the Jets is more likely now
If the New York Jets wanted a chance to land Aaron Rodgers, they made a good step in that direction this morning. According to multiple reports, former Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was hired by the Jets as their next offensive coordinator.
The Denver Broncos hired Hackett as their head coach last season. Rumors came out that the Broncos hired Hackett to lure Aaron Rodgers to Denver. That didn’t happen, and Hackett’s offense with Russell Wilson, following a Broncos trade with the Seattle Seahawks, was a complete disaster for the 2022 season.
Hackett was fired from the Broncos. And now he’s headed to the Jets. Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show this week that he hoped the Jets would get an offensive coordinator to help their quarterback out. Now some NFL fans think Rodgers might be that quarterback, as Rodgers and Hackett have a good relationship. Rodgers has been linked to the Jets via a trade numerous times this month.
