The New York Jets want Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets are about to be a popular subject on Super Bowl Sunday. The Jets didn’t make the playoffs but easily grabbed the biggest NFL story outside of the game Sunday night. The Jets officially reached out to the Green Bay Packers regarding a trade that would fly Aaron Rodgers to New York. Fans immediately had opinions on the possibility.
There had been speculation about Rodgers being traded since the Packers’ season ended in Week 18. The two leading teams discussed as having an interest in Rodgers were the Jets and Las Vegas Raiders. Raiders players started the recruiting gambit. The Jets brass is making the first official move. Any talk that takes place now is hypothetical between the Packers and Jets front offices. Rodgers hasn’t decided on coming back to play football in 2023.
