New York Giants fans had a field day on Thursday night when Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney struggled. Toney was one of the reasons why the Chiefs lost 21-20 to the Detroit Lions on Thursday night. The Giants traded him at the NFL trade deadline last season.
The fanbase and Toney have a history of beef with one another on social media. Kadarius Toney was never healthy for the Giants. The Toney trade by general manager Joe Schoen managed to be for Darren Waller and Tre Hawkins III (rookie from Old Dominion).
In the third quarter, when the Chiefs led 14-7, Patrick Mahomes threw a pass to Toney right in his hands, and he dropped it, and rookie Brian Branch caught it instead, leading to a pick-six. After that play, New York Giants fans were tweeting all over the place, and they had many things to say about it.
New York Giants Fans Reactions to Kadarius Toney’s bad night
Giants fans on Thursday night were having a ton of fun on Twitter. Toney not only had that drop, but he also had several drops as well. Yes, he missed time in the preseason with a knee injury, but it was not an excuse to drop passes. The Kadarius Toney selection a few years ago by New York had to be one of the worst first-round picks in Giants history.
Here is what some of the fans had to say about his night:
Kadarius Toney finishing with one receiving yard, negative one rushing yards, four drops, and one of those drops leading to a pick-6 in a game KC lost by 1 point legit might go down as the worst performance any skill player has all season.

BREAKING: Kadarius Toney is expected to miss 6-9 weeks with “broken hands,” per source.
According to Head Coach Andy Reid, “no bones are broken, but the hands sure don’t f—ing work.” pic.twitter.com/2sB0T73Zou

The truth of the matter is that head coach Andy Reid needs to have him in the dog house. Rookie Rasheed Rice and rookie Justyn Ross need to see the field more in Week 2. Kadarius Toney is a major liability and also has been. Just ask Giants fans.
The Kansas City Chiefs can’t afford to fall to 0-2 next week when they go on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Yes, they didn’t have Travis Kelce or Chris Jones, but they should have that game. They lost it because of one guy, Kadarius Toney.
