New York Giants outside linebacker Jihad Ward was trash-talking New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the latest Hard Knocks Episode on Tuesday night. The Jets and the Giants faced each other in a preseason game and the Jets came out on top 32-24 over the Giants.
During the game, Rodgers was trash-talking Ward. Jihad Ward had a late hit on Aaron Rodgers and Rodgers said:
“Show some respect. I don’t even know who you are.”
After Rodgers threw the touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson, Aaron Rodgers continued to bark at Jihad Ward and said:
“Don’t poke the bear.”
There was one more thing that Rodgers mentioned on Hard Knocks about the Giants:
“Seems like the Giants backups were looking to mix it up. We’ve seen a lot of eye-rolling from other teams when the Jets come up. Usually, it’s for the defending champs.”
The New York Giants fanbase took some offense to that on Twitter on Tuesday night and there were some interesting reactions after this was posted on Twitter:

New York Giants Fans React on Twitter about Aaron Rodgers Trash Talking Jihad Ward
Last season, Ward trash-talked Rodgers during a game when the Giants faced the Green Bay Packers in London. New York came back in that game against Green Bay and won by a final score of 27-22. However, the New York Giants and the New York Jets will face each other again in Week 8.
