NBA news: Milwaukee Bucks talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo may have inadvertently started a new trend amid recent reports surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s insane offer from Saudi club Al Hilal. So much so, that even Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James seems to have followed Giannis’ lead.
NBA News: LeBron James Reacts to Al Hilal’s Insane Kylian Mbappe’s Offer
According to reports, PSG have received a formal offer from Al Hilal amounting to $332 million for the transfer of the French forward. On top of that record-breaking transfer fee, Mbappe is also going to receive a salary of $776 million. Nope, no typos there. To make this even more shocking, this three-quarters of a billion dollars is the amount Mbappe will be pocketing for ONE SEASON.
LeBron James took to Twitter the moment he heard about this insane development:
Me headed to Saudi when they call @RichPaul4 & @mavcarter for that 1 year deal! ✌🏾🤷🏾♂️😁 pic.twitter.com/IX0VSMZYNb

LeBron was obviously kidding around, but you can clearly tell that even the four-time NBA champion has been floored by this crazy Al Hilal offer.
NBA News: Giannis Anrtetokounmpo Wants to Join Al Hilal ASAP
Giannis Antetokounmpo beat LeBron to the punch, though. The Bucks star had a similar reaction to the stunning Mbappe news, except that the former back-to-back MVP had a more direct message for Al Hilal:
Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe 😂😂👀 pic.twitter.com/VH0syez3VX
— Giannis Antetokounmpo (@Giannis_An34) July 24, 2023
Antetokounmpo wants Al Hilal to go and take him as soon as possible. He’s (jokingly) ready to turn his back on his $228 million supermax contract with the Bucks in favor of Mbappe’s proposed salary. Also note that Giannis will earn that amount over the span of five years, while the football superstar will earn more than three times that total amount for just one season.
