NBA News: Bucks, Nuggets Ripped Apart by LeBron James, Lakers Superfan O’Shea Jackson Jr.

NBA news: There are definitely more than a few LeBron James and Los Angeles Lakers fans out there — certainly more than the entire fanbase of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. However, when it comes to talking smack at the highest possible level, one man who stands out is actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., the son of hip-hop icon and BIG 3 founder Ice Cube.

In a recent interview with Jason Jones of The Athletic, the actor/rapper/songwriter spoke out about his undying love for his Lakers. Born and raised in LA, Jackson bleeds the colors of not only the Lakers, but also the Los Angeles Rams. He’s also been known to come out with some contentiously hot takes that have gotten him into all sorts of trouble with opposing fans. According to Jackson, this is exactly what he’s hoping to do each and every time:

“I love it. The reason why I act like this is because, naturally, I’ve got mad energy,” Jackson said.” I live for that ‘Oh my God!’ moment. Just the sound of a crowd. I think it’s because my mom was pregnant with me at concerts. The noise of the crowd gets me going. When I was growing up, like, I would never see a Laker fan go as hard as we (should) have every right to go. They always go on these sports shows and let these hosts talk them down. So, I wanted to be the most aggressive Laker fan that any of these shows has ever seen.”

Jackson then decided to make out his case by throwing a stray in the direction of the Bucks, and an even more savage tirade against the defending champions Denver Nuggets:

“I don’t care who you root for,” Jackson said. “I don’t care that you used to watch the games with your dad when you were younger, and that’s why you root for the Bucks. Who gives a damn? Like, Denver right now: Go ahead and get your shine. I love when you pathetic, single-digit championship-having franchises got something to be happy about, so y’all can shut the hell up.

“You got (Denver coach Michael Malone) talking reckless. It is good for the league. Well, I’m gonna let you know: It don’t mean nothing because the Lakers will be back, and y’all all will be upset again. It’s that aggression that I wanted from other stars, and they wouldn’t give it to me. So, until Jeanie (Buss) announces that I am the new Jack Nicholson, I will be this aggressive tyrant on Twitter.”

Clearly, O’Shea Jackson Jr. is doing all he can to live up to the title of being the most aggressive Lakers fan out there. This time around, it’s the Bucks and the Nuggets who have taken the hits.

Bro out here commenting like he aint ride his daddy’s coat tail his whole life. 🤣 The Nuggets won their chip by developing players they drafted. The Lakers buy their championships any chance they get.
