The Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love figure to be together for a long time. The 25-year-old quarterback showed the Packers and the rest of the NFL that he has what it takes to become the next franchise quarterback.
Love is expected to sign a massive extension this off-season that will keep him in Green Bay for the foreseeable future. This week, Love announced some other pretty incredible personal news.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Jordan Love launched a foundation called the Hands of 10ve Foundation.
Its mission is to encourage kids to participate in sports, bring awareness to mental health and suicide and unite law enforcement with the community.
Love lost his father, a former cop, to suicide in 2013.
Green Bay Charity Softball Game in Appleton will benefit Love’s foundation.
Love and Donald Driver are the hosts, while Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, Tucker Kraft and Eric Wilson are other confirmed participants.

Love has previously spoken about losing his father, a police officer, to suicide when he was 14, and how it had an impact on him as a player and as a person.
“That’s my superhero. My parents were my superheroes. Both were police officers,” Love said. “Heard stories about my dad fighting crime. He seems like a superhero. To lose him was tough.”
Jordan Love and former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver co-hosted the Green Bay Charity Softball Game in Appleton, according to Matt Schneidman.
“Try to get kids more involved in sports, try to get the police and sheriff’s departments into the community more,” he said. “And bring more attention to mental health issues and suicide.”
