Saturday was quite the memorable NBA night for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Not only did the Milwaukee Bucks blow out the Detroit Pistons, but the Greek Freak was also able to share some family time with his two sons.
The Bucks took care of business at home once again, dismantling Monty Williams’ Pistons to the tune of a 146-114 drubbing. Milwaukee opened the first-quarter with a 23-point lead, 43-20, and never looked back as they sailed away to victory.

Antetokounmpo himself had a big night, finishing with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists. He shot 7-of-9 from the field and 8-of-13 from the free-throw line, with the Pistons unable to find others way to stop him other than hacking the MVP and hope he misses his freebies. Damian Lillard led the way with 33 points, while Bobby Portis stepped up as well with a 31-point, 12-rebound double-double.
What stood out during the NBA showdown while the Milwaukee Bucks were destroying the Detroit Pistons, however, was Giannis Antetokounmpo bringing his two sons, Liam and Maverick, to the bench. It was undoubtedly an adorable moment, with the Bucks clearly delighted as well.
Pistons so bad that Giannis brought his kids to the game because he knew he could bring them on the bench after the W pic.twitter.com/UnI687RxB6

Milwaukee and the Bucks are already family to Antetokounmpo. Hey, his elder brother Thanasis is even in Milwaukee. So it’s certainly awesome to see him show that much comfort with the organization.
Prior to the game, Antetokounmpo also let his two kids join him in their pregame shootaround, having both Liam and Maverick assist him.
Giannis ALWAYS locked in and don’t talk to no one pre game. You know they not taking the Pistons serious when he doing stuff like this with his kids😭 pic.twitter.com/aFOIZnEHL5

Milwaukee Bucks Fans Troll Detroit Pistons Over Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Kids
While several Milwaukee Bucks fans loved seeing Giannis Antetokounmpo share that moment with his kids, other fans couldn’t help but joke and use the opportunity to troll the Detroit Pistons.
Considering the beating that the Bucks were giving them at that point, many poked fun at the visitors and said that Antetokounmpo could probably let his kids sub in and play in the contest. Savage!

“Get those kids on the court now. Let’s even the playing field,” a commenter wrote on Barstool’s video on X. Another one said along with laughing emojis, “They going to sub in probably.”
A third commenter added, “The Pistons have been a meme for a while now but this is up at the top. Kids just chilling on a NBA bench mid game is CRAZY.”
Another X user shared, “It’s bring your kids to work day vs the Pistons.”
It’s hard not to feel bad for the Pistons, but for a team that has now lost 23 straight games, they can’t avoid such harsh jokes–especially since they haven’t shown any sign that they will be able to end their skid soon.
Furthermore, who knows, we might see two more Antetokounmpos in Bucks uniform 15 or 20 years from now.
