Giannis Antetokounmpo is one proud brother after witnessing his teammate, Bobby Portis, play his best game ever with the Milwaukee Bucks against the Detroit Pistons.
Portis, along with Damian Lillard, set the tone for the Bucks as they blew out the Pistons to the tune of a 146-114 drubbing. Portis exploded for a monster double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, highlighted by his 18-point explosion in the second quarter of the game.
Making things even better, Portis shot 4-of-7 from deep and was a perfect 5-of-5 from deep as the Pistons had their hands full of stopping all the weapons that the Bucks threw at them.
After the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t help but heap praise on his Milwaukee Bucks teammate. In real Giannis fashion, he dropped his signature “#YumYumSauce” celebration while sharing a photo of him and Portis. He captioned it with Portis’ name to further emphasize how delighted he was.

While we’re not sure what “YumYumSauce” means–aside from the food brand of the same name–it’s safe to assume that Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis and the Milwaukee Bucks are enjoying the food (or preys) presented to them in the NBA.
For what it’s worth, Portis himself was equally hyped after his performance for Milwaukee, taking it to X (formerly Twitter) himself to share his reaction.

We can’t blame Antetokounmpo and Portis for being this ecstatic, though. They took care of business at home, and despite all the controversy and brouhaha that their previous showdown with the Indiana Pacers brought, they proved that they wouldn’t get distracted by it.
Bobby Portis Makes Intriguing History With Milwaukee Bucks
For what it’s worth, Bobby Portis’ performance on Saturday night certainly deserves Giannis Antetokounmpo’s praise.
Portis actually came off the bench, but he was able to make a massive impact and lead the Bucks to victory. According to Stat Muse, Portis is only the fifth player in history to record at least 31 points, 12 rebounds and four 3-pointers while coming off the bench. FIFTH!
If that’s not impressive enough, Portis actually did all those work in just roughly 27 minutes of play.
Portis played hard from start to finish and deserves a ton of credit for helping the Bucks stay in the right mindset against a hapless Pistons team.
Even head coach Adrian Griffin was complimentary of the leadership Portis and the rest of the Bucks’ top guys showed, noting that they had the right approach in the game.
“I thought our leaders were leaders tonight,” Griffin said, per the Associated Press. “There was no messing around. I thought that in the locker room, there was a seriousness before the game.”
Hopefully, we see another big game for Portis the next time out. The Bucks return to action quickly this Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
