MLB News: The league has announced six suspensions from the brawl on Saturday night between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians.  Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez were at the epicenter of the fight, but in total three players and three coaches/managers have been suspended.

Of the suspensions, four of them are to Cleveland Guardians players/coaches but the lengthiest punishment went to Tim Anderson of the White Sox.

Who are the players and coaches/managers suspended from the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians Brawl? (MLB News).

Below is a list that includes the name, relationship to the club, and length of suspension in games.

    • Tim Anderson – Shortstop – six games
    • Jose Ramirez – Third Baseman – three games
    • Emmanuel Clase – closing pitcher – one game
    • Terry Francona – Guardians manager – one game
    • Pedro Grifolf – White Sox manager – one game
    • Mike Sarbaugh – Guardians coach – one game

At the time of the suspensions being handed out the Guardians were four games under .500, 4.5 games back in the AL Central division, and 8.5 games away from a Wild Card Spot.  Chicago was well out of playoff contention and had just parted ways with several players at the trade deadline.

A lot has been said about this fight between division rivals and it will be one of the most talked about for years to come.  Book An Athlete Appearance MSM 2023 CTA
