MLB News: Milwaukee Brewers fans took to social media after a brutal walk-off loss against their division rival Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Brewers seemingly had control of Friday nights ball game until they lost it in the bottom of the ninth.  They had a big four run third inning and a three run seventh inning that propelled them to a 7-5 lead entering the ninth.

With bullpen pitchers Bryse Wilson, Elvis Peguero, Joel Payamps, Hoby Milner, and Devin Williams all unavailable, just Thomas Pannone and Matt Bush were at manager Craig Counsell’s disposal.  Starting pitcher Freddy Peralta ended up going 5.1 innings, Pannone 2.2 innings, and Matt Bush got the opportunity to finish the game in the final inning.

Unfortunately Matt Bush surrendered three earned runs as the Pirates won by a score of eight to seven.  The game was capped off by a Carlos Santana walk-off two run home run.  Following the loss Brewers fans were livid on social media.

Good to see the Hader trade still costing the team games.

Until the Brewers actually spend some money on some talent this is what we’re going to see. Embarrassing to bring in that low quality of pitching. Combine it with a bunch of .200 hitters and this is the result
