MLB News: The Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians game on Saturday, August 5 may have been headlined by an epic fight between Tim Anderson and Jose Ramirez, but some additional White Sox franchise history was made during this game as well.
In the third inning of the game White Sox center fielder Luis Robert launched his 30th home run of the season. With this long ball he became the first center fielder in franchise history to have a 30 home run season.

According to the Talkin Baseball Twitter page, Luis Roberts is the first White Sox center fielder in franchise history to accomplish this.

Luis Roberts has set a bunch of career highs already this season including games, at-bats, hits, home runs, runs batted in, and stolen bases. It has been fun to see what this exciting player can do when consistently on the ball diamond.
