Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley is a man of his word. Just last week, the feisty veteran had a few things to say about Kyle Lowry and how the Philadelphia 76ers supposedly somewhat replaced him with the 37-year-old guard as Beverley was traded to the Bucks.
Beverley promised that he was going to be on Lowry’s a** when Milwaukee takes on Philadelphia, which incidentally, went down on Sunday night. Pat Bev delivered on his word.
Milwaukee Bucks Vet Patrick Beverley Locks Down Kyle Lowry
Similar to Beverley’s role with the Bucks, Lowry is now also part of Philly’s second unit. The pair spent nearly the same amount of time on the floor on Sunday, and for his part, Pat Bev made sure to make his impact felt the moment his opportunity came:

At one point in the game, Beverley was able to force a turnover on Lowry, which prompted some trademark savagery from the Milwaukee veteran:

Beverley shared an even better angle of the play on Twitter via the Pat Bev Pod:

Beverley may be getting up there in the years, but he clearly hasn’t lost one bit of his ferociousness on and off the court.
For additional context, here are Beverley’s full comments about Lowry’s arrival in Philly and how he intended to jump on the one-time NBA champion guard when Pat Bev faced him on the court.

Kyle Lowry Reacts
For his part, though, Lowry isn’t shying away from what now appears to be a brewing rivalry. The Sixers vet was asked to comment on Beverley’s statement ahead of Sunday’s contest, which prompted an honest response from the six-time All-Star:
"I think Patrick [Beverley] is the ultimate competitor… His podcast is great… I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play against him as always."

For what it’s worth, Lowry finished Sunday’s loss with three points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 21 minutes of action. Beverley, on the other hand, logged three points, two dimes, and a steal.
The Bucks prevailed, 119-98.
