Khris Middleton knows that Jrue Holiday is going to be out for some revenge on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. Even though he might not admit it, you can be sure that Holiday will have a bit more fire under him when he faces off against his former team for the first time since they decided to trade him away this summer.
Khris Middleton Admits Milwaukee Bucks’ Jrue Holiday Trade ‘Hurt’ Him
In the basketball sense, losing Holiday was a tough blow for the Bucks. After all, this man was a key piece in their iconic 2021 title run. Getting Damian Lillard in exchange obviously softens the blow significantly but at the same time, there’s still no denying that Jrue has and will continue to be missed.
For his part, Khris Middleton decided to take a more personal approach when he recently discussed Holiday’s departure. These two formed quite a bond as teammates during their three years together in Milwaukee but at the same time, it’s their relationship off the court that makes this separation even more difficult:
“A lot of mixed feelings,” Middleton said. “To see somebody like Jrue go, as a player but more importantly, first as a person. He was a guy that I hung out with from time to time, but our families were together more than us, it seems like. So to him and his family go through this change and to know he’s leaving us to go to Boston, it hurts.”

As Middleton said, the fact that Holiday eventually ended up with the “enemy” made things much worse. The Bucks will get a first-hand experience of what exactly this means on Wednesday night as Holiday does all he can to help the Celtics take down his former team.
