    Milwaukee Bucks’ Early-Season Revenge Game Considered ‘Must-See’ by NBA.com

    The NBA has already released the full schedule for the 2023-24 season, and there is going to be a handful of highly-anticipated matchups early in the campaign. For Milwaukee Bucks fans, there are already a number of dates that have been marked on their respective calendars, with perhaps none more captivating early on than their much-awaited rematch against the Miami Heat just a few days after opening night.

    Milwaukee Bucks to Face Miami Heat on Oct. 30

    The NBA season officially tips off on October 24 with a mouth-watering double-header featuring LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the defending champs Denver Nuggets, followed by a matchup between the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors.

    For their part, the Bucks battle Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers the following night for the first game of their campaign. While that will be a much-awaited contest as well, fans will likely have a lot more invested in Milwaukee’s rematch against the Miami Heat on October 30th.

    In fact, Shaun Powell of NBA.com considers this contest as one of the Top 10 must-see games early in the season:

    “If Milwaukee could have a do-over, it would beg the basketball gods to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo healthy for the Bucks’ first-round series with Miami last spring. Antetokounmpo missed just over two games of the series and Butler became king of Milwaukee — he went to school at Marquette — as Miami came away with the 4-1 series win,” Powell wrote.

    It was Jimmy Butler and the Heat that took out the Bucks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs last season, thereby ending all hope for a title. Miami went all the way to the Finals on a fairytale-like run, which probably added insult to injury for Milwaukee supporters. You can be sure that the Bucks will have this in mind when they face off for the first time this coming season.
