The Milwaukee Bucks have checked another one off their checklist after their hard-fought 118-114 victory over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night. Orlando is one of just six teams that have defeated the Bucks this season, so you just know that Milwaukee came out for Thursday’s rematch with some fire in their belly.
True enough, the Bucks took care of business by taking down the Magic, en route to their 21st win of the season.
Malik Beasley Reacts to Milwaukee Bucks’ Win Vs. Orlando
The Magic pushed the Bucks all the way to the edge on Tuesday night. Milwaukee had control of the game for pretty much the entire contest, but Orlando just wouldn’t go away. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. had to show their resolve against a relentless Magic side.
After the win, Bucks shooting guard Malik Beasley sounded off on the win. The 27-year-old knows that Orlando put them to the test on Thursday night, which prompted another resolute performance from Milwaukee:
“We just want to be a championship team and that’s what we gotta do against these teams,” Beasley said. “They beat us earlier in the year so we owe them one.”
The season series is now even at 1-1 with two more matchups coming up for these two sides on April 10 and on April 14.
That’s now six straight wins for the Bucks, who remain half a game behind the Boston Celtics for the No. seed in the East at 21-7. The Magic, however, suffered their fourth straight defeat, and have slipped to fourth in the conference with a 16-11 record.
