Milwaukee Bucks news: The Orlando Magic are not considered a legitimate threat in the Eastern Conference this season. They are a young side that is currently focused on developing their group of highly promising core players.
This is exactly why it’s even more frustrating that the Bucks were unable to secure a win against Orlando on Friday. To make matters worse, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. were blown out by a young and hungry Magic side that just refused to give Milwaukee an inch.
Khris Middleton Gets Real on Milwaukee Bucks’ Recent Loss

That’s now back-to-back losses for Milwaukee following their defeat against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. You could say that Friday’s 112-97 loss against Orlando was even worse considering how the Bucks were pretty much outplayed by their opponents on every turn.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Bucks veteran Khris Middleton attempted to shed some light on his team’s fifth loss of the season. The three-time All-Star identified the things that went wrong for Milwaukee against the Magic — and there was quite a number of them:
“I don’t know if we necessarily got off to too much of a slow start tonight but throughout the game they worked us on both sides,” Middleton said, via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Defensively, they had us moving around, had us lost on too many possessions I feel like. And transition defense was a big thing. They got to the free throw line way too many times in the first half. So, I mean, we just have to better flat out. Just gotta be better.”

Needless to say, the Bucks have a lot more to work out following this tough loss to Orlando. We all already knew coming in that Milwaukee still has a long way to go toward reaching its true potential. However, this most recent loss just goes to show just how far away they actually are at this point.
