Earlier this season, Malik Beasley shattered a long-standing Milwaukee Bucks franchise record for the most games with at least five 3-pointers in a single season. This was a feat that was previously held by Hall of Fame shooting guard Ray Allen.
On Thursday night, Beasley further added to his tally by knocking down another five treys in Milwaukee’s lopsided 111-99 win in Charlotte. Not only has Beasley set a new bar for the Bucks, but he’s now also entered Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic territory with his sharpshooting prowess this season.
Milwaukee Bucks’ Malik Beasley Flexes 3-Point Feat
Beasley finished Thursday’s victory with 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, which was the most points scored by a Buck outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 27-year-old went 5-of-9 from distance to mark the 15th time this season that he’s knocked down five or more triples in a game.
Shortly after the final buzzer, Beasley just had to flex his latest achievement, which includes the fact that only Curry and Doncic have a greater tally than him this term. The Bucks shooting guard caught wind of a Twitter post by StatMuse, which he proudly retweeted:
Malik Beasley has 15 games with 5+ threes this season.
The most ever by a Buck.
Only Steph and Luka have more this season. https://t.co/O72ExPSqAk

Steph Curry. Luka Doncic. Malik Beasley. Quite the company for Beas, right?
Beasley then followed that up by retweeting his highlight reel courtesy of the Bucks’ official Twitter account:
Beasley brought it.

In case you were wondering, Allen’s previous franchise record stood at 12 games with five or more triples. The fact that Beasley is now at 15 with more than a quarter of the regular season remaining is simply amazing.
