Khris Middleton is in the midst of yet another extended injury absence for the Milwaukee Bucks. The three-time All-Star has been out of commission for Milwaukee since early February, with this most recent injury spell now extending to a full month.
Unfortunately for both Middleton and the Bucks, he is now set to miss at least another game after being ruled out for Wednesday’s bout against the Golden State Warriors.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Khris Middleton OUT Vs. Warriors
On Monday, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers made it clear that Middleton had not suffered a setback on his road to recovery from a lingering left ankle sprain. The tenured shot-caller, however, was not very optimistic about getting the 32-year-old back for Milwaukee’s current four-game road trip.
The Bucks have already released their injury report for Wednesday’s showdown and true enough, Middleton has been ruled out yet again. This will be the 6-foot-7 small forward’s 12th straight game on the sidelines.
It now remains to be seen if Middleton will join the Bucks in this current road stand. If ever he does, his next chance to play would be on Friday against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Also on Injury Report
Apart from Middleton, Milwaukee could also be without the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday. The former Defensive Player of the Year has officially been listed as questionable to play with an Achilles problem.
Giannis was also unable to suit up on Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers, and he is now in danger of missing his second straight game.
If both Middleton and Giannis are unavailable, we fully expect another massive performance from Damian Lillard, who amazingly carried the Bucks to a huge comeback victory against LA last night.
